Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of unitedbuildpartners.com (the "Site") and the property-review and contractor-introduction service offered by United Build Partners ("we," "us," or "United Build Partners"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

What United Build Partners Is — and Isn't

United Build Partners is a homeowner-focused ADU advisory and contractor-introduction service. We are not a licensed general contractor, architect, engineer, lender, real estate broker, or government agency, and nothing on this Site should be interpreted as a statement to the contrary.

We do not provide architectural plans, issue permits, perform construction, guarantee contractor performance, guarantee ADU eligibility, guarantee project pricing, or negotiate or sign a construction contract on your behalf. Any agreement for design, permitting, or construction services is strictly between you and the licensed contractor you choose to hire.

The Service We Provide

When you submit information through our Site, we review your project details and may contact you for clarification. If your project appears to be a good fit, we may share your information with up to three contractors who may be suited to your project. We do not guarantee that three contractors will be available for every project, that any contractor will contact you within a specific time frame, or that any contractor will provide a quote or site visit.

You are never obligated to hire, engage, or continue communicating with any contractor we introduce.

No Guarantees

United Build Partners makes no guarantee regarding ADU eligibility, permit approval, project timelines, construction costs, financing terms, rental income, or property value. Estimates, cost ranges, and calculators on this Site are illustrative only and are not bids, appraisals, or financial advice. You should independently confirm all technical, legal, financial, and pricing details with the appropriate licensed professional or government agency.

Service Area

United Build Partners currently accepts property-review requests across select Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside County, California communities, with San Diego County service planned but not yet available. Availability of contractors and services may vary by location, project type, and timing, and is not guaranteed.

Compensation

Homeowners do not pay United Build Partners directly for the initial property assessment or contractor introductions. United Build Partners may receive compensation from participating contractors in connection with these introductions.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information when using the Site, and to independently verify any contractor's license, insurance, references, and contract terms before entering into any agreement. You can verify a California contractor's license status at the Contractors State License Board, cslb.ca.gov.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, United Build Partners is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site, your interactions with any contractor we introduce, or any construction project undertaken as a result of that introduction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
